To kick-start another exciting year ahead, we are hosting a bike riding event from Adelaide to Henley Beach. This event will give you the opportunity to meet and make friends with fellow international students and local students.
When: 8:30AM, 7 March 2010 (This Sunday morning!)
Where: In front of China Town (Where the lion statue is)
How well do you know Adelaide? – Lights, Camera, Action!
This interactive event gives you the chance to meet new people, work in a group to test how well you know Adelaide and to have some fun! On the day you are split into groups and given a list of different scenarios. Your group objective is to go around the city and take photos of these different scenarios. More detail will be given on the day.
FREE FOOD AND DRINKS will be also provided after the event and a prize will be given to the winning group with the most photos. 100% fun and interaction is guaranteed!
I am pleased to invite you all to the first AFIS-SA branch event for the year - a FREE BBQ. This BBQ is aimedat welcoming all the SA members as well as giving you thechance to make new friends.

AFIS-SA is conducting a survey in order to allow us to identify the problems associated with the overseas students in Adelaide, and to understand the interests and needs of the overseas students.
This survey should only take between 5 to 10 minutes to complete. To thank you for your time, we are offering you an opportunity to WIN one of the 7 prizes, including a $100 shopping voucher, a $50 book voucher and five $20 book vouchers.
AFIS-SA's first event of the year - the Ice Breaker event. This event will allow the international students to meet new friends from different nationality and different universities. Free nibbles and drinks will be provided. Anyone is welcome to come along.
